December 10, 2015: The First Visit After Removal

Around December 10, 2015, we were finally allowed to see our daughter again after her removal from our care. When we laid eyes on her, we were shocked to see that her legs were now free from the bandages, splints, and braces that had been in place just a few days earlier at the hospital.

This sudden change raised immediate questions, as we had seen her being carefully wrapped and splinted during her hospital stay just days before.

Questioning the Social Worker

My daughter's father immediately questioned the social worker, Bambie Baldridge, about the change in his daughter’s condition. He asked why, just a few days ago, she had been wrapped and splinted at the hospital, but now she was bouncing and standing on his lap like nothing had happened.

Instead of providing an explanation, the social worker urged him not to worry about it and to focus on the visit. She even warned that if he continued asking questions, she would cancel the visit altogether.

This response left us deeply concerned. It was clear that something wasn’t right, but we felt powerless in the situation. The lack of transparency from the social worker and the absence of answers made it even more difficult to understand what was happening with our daughter.
