The parents remained at the hospital until October 28, 2016. Despite the ongoing case, the infant was sent home with his paternal great-grandmother. The case continued, despite the false accusations and the fractures being officially denounced in medical records, but not in the court proceedings.
Despite this evidence, the case plan remained unchanged, and no one bothered to inform the parents about the updated medical information or findings.

Inconsistent Medical Records and Lack of Action
On December 2, 2015, December 17, 2015, and April 27, 2016, the reported fractures from the initial diagnosis were contradicted by follow-up medical appointments. The misdiagnosis had already been corrected, yet the case continued to move forward.

The System Knew, But The Case Continued Anyway
Before the infant was even born, the medical professionals knew that the fractures had been misdiagnosed. Despite this, the CPS/DCBS case against the parents continued, and the infant was removed from the family, unjustly separating the child from their parents based on outdated, inaccurate information.
