Confrontation Over the Past
The mother reached out to the relative and asked how she could deny the events that had occurred, especially considering that the relative had walked in on the abuse when the mother was 6-7 years old, spanked the offenders, and never informed her own mother. Despite her knowledge, the abuse continued for years, impacting other children as well. In response, the relative cursed the mother out, called her names, and accused her of lying.

 

Social Media Post and Subsequent Response
In the aftermath of the confrontation, the mother made a post on Facebook to express her feelings about family issues and the turmoil she was experiencing. On January 25, 2017, at 6:51 AM, the relative who had custody of the child at that time emailed the mother regarding the post she had seen online.
