Accusations and Legal Proceedings

During the hospital stays, court appearances, and proceedings, I was repeatedly told that I was “making up” the details about the accident. The claim was that even if she had been in the vehicle collision, her injuries must have been caused by something else. Despite the lack of proper records, and the fact that the injuries she sustained appeared to be consistent with trauma from the car accident, this narrative was persistently pushed forward.

The hospital's failure to document her evaluation after the crash, along with their denial of the car accident as a contributing factor, became a major obstacle in my efforts to reunite with my child.a
