The parents sat in the hospital again, nervously awaiting their release. This time without their son, just as they had left with their daughter months before. The trauma of one removal was now compounded by the second, leaving them shattered.

They had already experienced the painful loss of their daughter to the system, and now they were forced to relive that trauma with the removal of their son.

Retraumatized, they were left to process the weight of the same situation unfolding once again.

 Denied Parenting Rights

Unable to Care for Their Own Child

Despite being in a hospital equipped with cameras and monitoring, the parents were denied the right to feed their newborn son. Every moment with him was controlled by others, forcing them to watch nurses feed their own child, even though they were fully capable of doing so themselves.

The mother, who had plans to breastfeed, was told no. Her request was denied, adding an extra layer of pain and helplessness to an already traumatic situation.
